Who Is This Group For?
If you find yourself battling negative self-talk, lacking confidence, or struggling to set boundaries, this group could be a perfect fit. You’ll learn how to reframe your inner dialogue, increase your self-esteem, and develop practical skills for setting and maintaining boundaries in a supportive environment.
What to Expect:
Each week, we’ll explore a new theme designed to build on the previous week’s lessons, all aimed at helping you grow your confidence and self-worth.
In Week One, we begin our journey by exploring the foundations of confidence. We'll discuss the definition of confidence and its relationship with identity, as well as how personal strengths play a crucial role in building self-assurance. Through engaging activities and discussions, participants will learn to set achievable goals and embrace their abilities.
In Week Two, the focus shifts to challenging negative self-talk and building self-compassion. This session will delve into strategies for recognizing and addressing unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to self-doubt. By learning techniques to manage negative self-talk, participants can gain a stronger sense of self-assurance and confidence.
In Week 3, participants will learn how to challenge the cycle of negative self-talk and reframe unhelpful narratives into ones that are more supportive and compassionate. This session focuses on recognizing how we speak to ourselves and identifying the narratives that have shaped these internal dialogues. Participants will also be introduced to techniques from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness practices, and humanistic principles to help reframe their thoughts and embrace more self-compassionate perspectives.
In Week 4, the focus shifts to resilience—the ability to bounce back from setbacks, challenges, or hardships—and how participants can develop it in the context of their own lives. This session will explore how to handle setbacks without losing sight of personal growth and self-compassion. Participants will be guided through strategies from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), mindfulness, and the humanistic approach to help them cope with challenges while maintaining a sense of self-worth and confidence.
The final week of the program is dedicated to integrating everything participants have learned about confidence, self-worth, and resilience. This session emphasizes how to maintain and deepen the progress made over the past five weeks while preparing participants to continue their growth journey outside of the group. The group will review key themes from previous weeks and explore strategies to keep building on their strengths and navigate future challenges with renewed confidence.
Participants will learn about creating ongoing habits for self-care, mindfulness, and goal-setting, and how to continue using the techniques from the group to face future setbacks with resilience and compassion.
